The Buccaneers kicked their five-game road trip off in dramatic fashion, setting a franchise record in points against the defending NFC champs in their house. Now, with a .500 record, they will go into New Orleans to take on the Saints in a battle for first place in the NFC South.
New Orleans will be without veteran quarterback Drew Brees, who is still out with a thumb injury. The Saints present a major challenge defensively, though. The uncertainty on offense is mitigated by a defensive front that Head Coach Bruce Arians called perhaps the best the Bucs will face.
"I think they're just very sound," quarterback Jameis Winston said about the Saints' front seven. "They have a great front led by Cameron Jordan. He's one of the best players I get the chance to play against every year. [They have] great young corners – two first-round draft picks over there – and they just do what they do really good, so we have to do what we do really good."
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers will be bringing the league's best run defense to town to hopefully limit the likes of New Orleans running back Alvin Kamara, who is one of the most versatile backs in the league. It's sure to be a back and forth divisional battle in the Superdome. Here's how to watch and listen to the game back here in Tampa.
