Head Coach Bruce Arians spoke after Friday's final practice before the Bucs take on the defending NFC Champion Rams and said both rookie linebacker Devin White and rookie cornerback Jamel Dean have been ruled out for the game on Sunday. Neither player practiced in any capacity the last two weeks but Arians is pleased with their timelines.
"Both are making good progress [and we] hope to have them back next week," Arians said. "Everybody else will be game-time decisions – the guys that did participate today. [It was a] good week's work. [It will be a] heck of a challenge [with] obviously the travel [and] all the things that go with it, but I think we're more than ready."
'Everybody else' is likely referring to center Ryan Jensen and wide receiver Chris Godwin, who both practiced for the first time on Friday after being held out with their respective injuries, as well as right tackle Demar Dotson, who was added to the injury report on Friday with a calf issue. He participated on a limited basis on Friday and his status, along with Jensen and Godwin is officially listed as questionable.
Other players to appear on the injury list were defensive tackle Vita Vea, wide receiver Breshad Perriman and outside linebacker Devante Bond. After being limited on Thursday, all three players were full participants today.
