The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has promoted Skyler Fulton to wide receivers coach. Todd Monken, who had served in a dual role the past two seasons as the team's offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach, will now focus exclusively on his coordinator duties.
Fulton first joined the Buccaneers during the 2016 preseason as one of the team's Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching fellows. In 2016, he also served as the wide receivers/special teams coach for Citrus College, following a stint with Grossmont College in 2015, where he worked as the running backs coach. Prior to that, Fulton also spent time working with receivers at Colorado (2009) and his alma mater Arizona State (2005).
Fulton played receiver at ASU, including three seasons with Koetter as his head coach. As a senior in 2003, he led the team with 10 touchdown catches along with career-bests in receptions (62) and receiving yards (901). Following his Sun Devils career, he spent time on several NFL rosters including the Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks while also playing a pair of seasons in NFL Europe for the Amsterdam Admirals.
