The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers named their game day inactives on Sunday at 2:55 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week 17 matchup at Bank of America Stadium. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.
The Buccaneers have placed a handful of players on injured reserve in recent days, including WR Vincent Jackson and S Chris Conte, but the remaining 53-man roster is ready to go for the season finale. Rookie WR Evan Spencer, active for the first time after being promoted from the practice squad in Week 16, could see his first NFL regular-season action.
Carolina will be without several key performers as it tries to lock down home field advantage throughout the playoffs, including RBs Jonathan Stewart and Fozzy Whittaker. Top deep threat Ted Ginn, Jr. has also been deactivated.
