The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the following four players will be inactive for Sunday`s game against the Chicago Bears: WR Bert Emanuel, DE John McLaughlin, RT Jason Odom and CB Floyd Young.
The Buccaneers and Bears will declare four additional players inactive 90 minutes prior to kickoff, which is set for 1 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium.
BUCCANEERS INJURY UPDATE WR Bert Emanuel (right hamstring) and RT Jason Odom (low back strain) will miss Sunday`s game against the Bears. WR Karl Williams will make his third start of the season in place of Emanuel, while T Jerry Wunsch notches his third consecutive start for Odom.
"Jerry has done a good job," Buccaneers head coach Tony Dungy said. "Hes held his own on (John) Randle and (Keith) McKenzie and the guys they
ve put over there. So, he`s done well."
DE John McLaughlin, listed as questionable with a right shoulder sprain on the team`s injury report, was declared a Friday inactive, along with CB Floyd Young (probable), who has missed the last three games nursing a left hamstring strain.
RB Warrick Dunn (left knee sprain), DT Warren Sapp (left hand fracture) and DE Steve White (left ankle sprain) are listed as probable. CB Donnie Abraham (neck strain) and TE Dave Moore (hip flexor strain) were taken off the Bucs` injury report on Friday.
