Bucs Listed at No. 10 in Power Rankings

NFL.com believes the Buccaneers are a top-10 team heading into the 2017 season.

The 2017 NFL season is still a long ways away, but predictions for the upcoming year are already begin to trickle in. With the first wave of free agency coming to an end, NFL.com has released an updated set of power rankings, with the Buccaneers sitting at No. 10. The Bucs finished 2016 ranked 15th.

"The Bucs were my sneaky NFC squad last year, but if they keep executing the kind of savvy moves they've made of late, these guys won't surprise anyone by going 10-6," NFL.com's Elliott Harrison wrote. "The headliner, of course, is the arrival of DeSean Jackson.

"We'll see if he can continue to be the same deep threat we've come to know him as in Year 10. It should be noted: Randy Moss went to the Patriots in his 10th year and went (crazy),  scoring an NFL-record 23 touchdowns. Much depends on Jameis Winston. Much depends on the running game."

At No. 10, the Buccaneers are projected as the No. 2 team in the NFC South behind the Falcons, who were listed at No. 2. New England topped the list, while Pittsburgh was listed at No. 3, Oakland was listed at No. 4 and the New York Giants were listed at No. 5. Other top-10 teams include the Packers, Seahawks, Chiefs and Cowboys.

The Bucs' other division rivals, the Panthers and Saints, were listed at No. 21 and No. 23, respectively.  For NFL.com's complete list, click **HERE**.
