A few weeks ago, the Buccaneers' opponents for the 2016 preseason were announced, but the times and dates of those games had yet to be determined. On Wednesday, the Bucs announced exactly when they will be playing their four exhibition games before kicking off the regular season.
The Bucs will open up the preseason with back-to-back road games against the Eagles and Jaguars. The team's game against the Eagles will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 11th with the game against the Jags slated for Saturday, August 20th at 7:30 p.m..
On Friday, August 26th, the Buccaneers will take the field against the Browns at 8 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium. It will be the team's first game in the stadium since undergoing renovations throughout the offseason, which included the installation of brand new HD video boards. The final game of the preseason will be on Thursday, September 1st against the Redskins at 7:30 p.m. That game will also be home.
