The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed safety Ryan Neal to the practice squad.
Neal (6-3, 200) rejoins the Buccaneers after appearing in 15 games for Tampa Bay in 2023, making 13 starts and recording 75 tackles (four for loss). Since entering the league as a college free agent in 2018, he has appeared in 62 career games between the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks and Buccaneers, totaling 223 tackles (13 for loss), 16 passes defensed, four quarterback hits, three interceptions, 2.0 sacks and two forced fumbles. The Merrillville, Indiana, native played collegiately at Southern Illinois. He was named honorable mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) his senior season after posting a team-high-tying 84 tackles and a team-high three interceptions. He will wear No. 36 for Tampa Bay.
