The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed defensive lineman Jeremiah Ledbetter from the practice squad to the active roster.
Ledbetter (6-3, 295) has played in 18 career games, recording 17 tackles, five quarterback hits and 0.5 sacks. He has spent the 2020 season on Tampa Bay's practice squad and was elevated for the Buccaneers Week 6 game against Green Bay, recording two tackles.
Ledbetter originally entered the league as a sixth-round selection by the Detroit Lions (205th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft. Following his rookie season in Detroit, Ledbetter has primarily spent time on practice squad rosters of both the Buccaneers and the Baltimore Ravens. The Arkansas product, and Gainesville, Georgia, native wears No. 95 for Tampa Bay.
In addition, the Buccaneers waived linebacker Jack Cichy.
