The Buccaneers rookies will get a taste for life in the NFL on Friday and Saturday when the team hosts its rookie minicamp at One Buccaneer place in Tampa. Each of the Bucs' rookies, both drafted and undrafted, are expected to be in attendance, along with players the team invites for tryouts.

Among those players taking the field will be No. 1 pick, Jameis Winston. It will mark the quarterback's first practice in a Bucs' uniform. Winston said that he is excited to get on the field, and in the locker room, with his new teammates.

"One thing about being a good leader is you have to have good followers too," Winston said after being drafted. "I look forward to just getting involved in everything and just serving everyone I can."

Joining Winston will be six other draft picks: offensive linemen Donovan Smith and Ali Marpet, linebacker Kwon Alexander, wide receivers Kenny Bell and Kaelin Clay, along with running back Joey Iosefa.

On Monday, the Bucs' signed 13 undrafted free agents, who will round out the minicamp: linebackers Quinton Alston, Michael Reynolds and Josh Keyes, running back Dominique Brown, defensive tackles Quayshawne Buckley and Caushaud Lyons, defensive ends Ryan Delaire and Jamal Young, cornerback Deshazor Everett and safety Chris Hackett.

Players will be made available to the media on Friday and Saturday after practice. Videos, photos and summaries will be available on Buccaneers.com.

After camp comes to an end, players will head back home for a few weeks until reporting back on May 28th for the team's organized team activities.
