For the second year in a row, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have earned the top ranking among all National Football League teams in stadium technology experience satisfaction among season pass members.
The ranking, revealed in the league's 2017 "Voice of the Fan" report, highlights the $160 million-dollar investment by the team in continued renovations made to Raymond James Stadium and reinforces its standing as the premier venue in the National Football League. The latest honor adds to the growing list of accolades regarding fan satisfaction for the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers have held the top rating in customer service satisfaction among season pass members four of the past six years and finished second in 2017.
In 2016, Raymond James Stadium introduced one of the largest, and most technologically advanced, HD video system in the NFL, with more than 31,000 square feet of HD video board space and a state-of-the-art sound system. It became the first NFL venue capable of simultaneously presenting up to three separate replay angles and providing fans with an immersive, first-of-its-kind viewing experience. Fans also enjoy real time fantasy sports and gameday statistics, live recaps of action from around the NFL and social media applications featuring gameday posts and unique video board filters showcasing fans at Raymond James Stadium. The Buccaneers are the only NFL team to feature four tower walls of HD.
Through the Buccaneers Official App, fans at Raymond James Stadium are provided with unprecedented access and interactivity on gameday. Once inside the stadium, fans utilizing the app have exclusive access to multiple live camera angles and the Red Zone channel, as well as engaging features where fans may use their smart phones to participate in interactive challenges.
Connecting to the Buccaneers app and other social media platforms at Raymond James Stadium is easier than ever before thanks to an all new enhanced Wi-fi network installed prior to the 2017 season. The network, which has more than quadrupled the stadium's Wi-fi capabilities from previous years, provides fans the opportunity to share their experiences and engage with friends and family without missing a moment of the action.
