Eat at Joe's Latin Style celebrates Hispanic Heritage month with help from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Downtown workers, residents and visitors are invited to spend their lunch break at Joe Chillura Courthouse Square (corner of Pierce and Madison streets) this Friday. There will be giveaways and a chance to win one of two sets of tickets to the home opener against New Orleans on Sunday when you stop by the Bucs' tent.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers float will kick off the event at 11 a.m. with Captain Fear and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders as they sail downtown. The float will begin its voyage at Kennedy Boulevard and proceed westward to Ashley Drive, then north to Madison Street making its way to Pierce Street, where it will dock at Joe Chillura Courthouse Square.

11:30 a.m.: Alfredo Ricardo, Latin-style Singer and guitarist
Noon: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders performance immediately followed by Award Presentationsfor:
- Hillsborough County Hispanic Woman of the Year
- Hillsborough County Hispanic Man of the Year
- Hermano Award
12:30 p.m.: Grace Badillo, Dancer and Instructor
1 p.m.: Simona Beltran, Romance Vocalist
1:30 p.m.: Latin music DJ
2 p.m.: Prize Drawing by The Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The month's featured food-truck vendors are: The Flattery; Hogfather-Artisan Barbecue; Michelle Faedo's on the Go; and Smoothin and Shaken. Food trucks will offer lunch for purchase, from 11a.m to 2 p.m. You can also buy a to-go order from your favorite downtown eatery and grab a spot in the Square to enjoy the festivities.

*The Eat at Joe's *lunch and concert series was Commissioner Al Higginbotham's idea to bring more attention and patronage to the County's downtown park.
