On Tuesday, the Buccaneers' staff departed from Tampa for their first of two private workouts with potential first-round picks.
Head Coach Lovie Smith, General Manager Jason Licht, Offensive Coordinator Dirk Koetter, Quarterbacks Coach Mike Bajakian and Director of Player Personnel Jon Robinson are headed to Eugene, Oregon for a private workout with Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota Tuesday afternoon.
The group will jet back to Florida for a workout with Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston in Tallahassee on Wednesday.
Also on the flight are Buccaneers Senior Writer Scott Smith and Video Producer Josh Lane, who will be providing exclusive content from the trip upon their return.
Mariota and Winston are the leading candidates to be selected by the Buccaneers with the first overall pick in this year's draft. Both have won Heisman Trophies, with Winston winning in 2013 and Mariota earning the award this past season.
