The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the signing of a multi-year partnership with Sprint as the team's official wireless provider.

As the team's newest Pewter Partner, Sprint continues the Buccaneers' tradition of partnering with category leaders. Sprint plans major marketing and promotional initiatives as part of the alliance.

"We are proud to announce this partnership with Sprint," said Buccaneers Executive Vice President Bryan Glazer. "The Buccaneers and Sprint represent two powerhouse brands and our new partnership is a natural fit."

"Sprint's sponsorship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is about more than just hanging a banner in Raymond James Stadium," said Steve Gaffney, Sprint's director of sports sponsorships. "This is about a partnership that delivers for the fans. Only NFL Mobile Live gives fans access to NFL information as it unfolds, including the live radio broadcasts of every Bucs game from WFUS Radio."

As part of the exclusive Pewter Partner program, Sprint joins a prominent list of the Buccaneers' valued sponsors. Sprint will receive exclusivity in the wireless category, the ability to use Buccaneers logos, prominent signage throughout Raymond James Stadium and radio advertising on the Buccaneers Radio Network.

With Sprint's Now Network and innovative technology, Sprint provides fans with radio broadcasts for home and away games. The new NFL Mobile Live application is exclusive to Sprint and in addition to live radio broadcasts, fans will be able to watch all eight of the Thursday Night Football telecasts carried by NFL Network live beginning on Nov. 6. The application is customizable to a favorite team and fans can choose to receive text alerts from when a team scores or enters the red zone on Sundays, to injury reports and breaking news throughout the week.
