NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (24)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 26) - Will be a a factor as season moves on.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 23) - Close losses have been frustrating. Still learning how to win.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 26) - Comment currently unavailable
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 22) - Have to figure a way to finish in the fourth quarter as every game they play is going to come down to the wire.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 20) - Josh Freeman's Bucs erase an 18-point deficit in the second half, but it's too little too late as RG III comes to the rescue and ruins Tampa's comeback.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 29) - The Buccaneers are reeling along with a three-game losing streak.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 24) - I can't wait to see what happens when Greg Schiano's offense takes a knee. My only question is: How long do we wait?
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 23) - Three consecutive losses by a total of 15 points has a new coaching staff frustrated entering the bye week.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 21) - Finally, Josh Freeman looked a little like the QB of 2010. The Bucs play hard but struggle to close out games which is a trait of young teams.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 25) - We have learned that the Greg Schiano led Bucs will fight till the end. They are just a little short on talent and depth right now.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 21) - The Bucs still can't get over the hump, losing their third straight game by one score or less to Washington. At least quarterback Josh Freeman rebounded late against the Redskins after six-plus quarters of poor passing.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 24) - Good news: Josh Freeman might be starting to click.
