The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have created a new payment plan for their Season Pass Members, and the idea came from a very well-regarded source: the Members themselves.
After gathering the opinions of existing Season Pass and Stadium Club Members, the Buccaneers have created a new 12-month payment option for the 2013 season that creates the flexibility fans desire. On Friday, the team mailed a description of the plan to all current members, inviting them to take advantage of the option immediately. Members may do so by filling out and returning a detachable portion at the bottom of the mailer or by signing up for the new plan online through Buccaneers.com.
The 12-month plan replaces the Buccaneers previous 10-month plan and is completely optional, both for existing members and those who are interested in purchasing season tickets for the first time in 2013. Fans who do not find that the 12-month option suits their preferences will receive payment and pricing information for 2013 after the conclusion of the 2012 campaign.
Members who have previously opted for the 10-month payment program and have a remaining balance on their 2012 season passes can further take advantage of the new 12-month option by rolling their August and September payments into the new plan. The new total, combining the remaining payments and the 2013 balance, will be divided into 12 payments to be taken care of on a monthly basis, beginning on August 15, 2012. Any existing credits, overpayments or expiring deposits will be treated in the same way, potentially reducing the monthly payments even more.
The new 12-month payment plan is another effort by the team to react to the needs of season ticket holders and to make it possible for more fans to attend Buccaneers games in person at Raymond James Stadium. Ticket prices for the 2012 season start as low as $30 per game and there are youth season tickets available in all upper sections for $15 per game. For four straight seasons, the Buccaneers have kept their ticket prices the same – or, in some cases, decreased them – in all sections.
Members do not need the recently-mailed letter in order to take advantage of the flexibility of the Buccaneers' new 12-month payment option. For more information on the plan, or to sign up now, members may call member relations at (813) 879-2827 or visit the 12-month plan page on Buccaneers.com.
