1. CB Vernon Hargreaves
The Buccaneers put an extra emphasis on bubble screens and short passes on Wednesday. Many of the team's passes were check-downs, but Hargreaves was still able to get his hands on the ball. At the start of the final team period, Hargreaves intercepted a screen pass and returned it for a touchdown. He also performed well in one-on-one drills.
2. DE Robert Ayers
Yes, Ayers was a standout from the Buccaneers' previous training camp practice. But his performance on Wednesday earned him a spot for the second consecutive day. Ayers picked up a sack at the start of team drills, largely thanks to a quick jump off the ball from Gerald McCoy on the other side of the line. Two players later, Ayers stuffed Jacquizz Rodgers in the ballfield as soon as he took the handoff.

- LB Kwon Alexander**
The Buccaneers ran a pass-rushing drill on Wednesday, with running backs and tight ends working against linebackers. For three plays in a row, Alexander squared off against Antony Auclair. He won all three snaps, including one where he nearly took Auclair off of his feet.
4. DE Ryan Russell
The Buccaneers have used several defensive linemen with the "first-team" defense. One of the formations they've used includes Ayers and McCoy on the inside and Russell and Noah Spence on the outside. Russell could have that spot when opening day rolls around, but he'll have to beat out George Johnson, among others, to win it.

Hargreaves wasn't the only Buccaneer to record an interception on Wednesday. McClain forced a turnover when he intercepted Ryan Fitzpatrick by jumping a route during the first portion of team drills. It was McClain's second interception of camp thus far.
