1. WR Russell Shepard
Due to a few minor injuries, the Buccaneers were a little short-handed during Tuesday's practice. That helped increase Shepard's reps, and he took full advantage. Shepard had three similar, but equally impressive, catches on the day, plucking the ball out of the air in traffic to secure the reception.
2. LB Luke Rhodes
The Buccaneers have been experimenting with a few different combinations at nearly every position throughout the spring. On Tuesday, Rhodes, an undrafted rookie, found himself working with the second-team defense. Rhodes will have to earn a spot on the 53-man roster through special teams play, but the fact that the coaches wanted to see him with the twos is telling.
**
- WR Adam Humphries**
Humphries had what was likely the play of the day, hauling in a one-handed pass during individual drills. Bernard Reedy also snagged a one-handed catch, but Humphries' was probably more impressive.
4. P Jake Schum
Don't count Schum out yet. The Buccaneers signed Bryan Anger this offseason, who many assume will handle the team's punting duties this season. But Schum look sharp on Tuesday and also served as the team's holder, which will help his chances of winning the spot in training camp.
5. CB Josh Robinson
The Buccaneers signed a Pro Bowl cornerback and drafted another corner in the first round, somewhat overshadowing the team's signing of Robinson. He'll be in a battle to make the 53-man roster with all of the talent the Bucs have in the defensive backfield, but worked with the second-team defense on Tuesday and saw time as a gunner on the punt team.
