Saluting Our Heroes
Salute to Service Suite Supported by Jabil
Since 2012, we have been honored to provide an exclusive gameday experience for hundreds of local military members and their families. At each home game, the Buccaneers host a selection of service members and their guests in the Salute to Service Suite, supported by Jabil - welcoming them with a BucVision tribute and a special moment aboard the pirate ship.
The Buccaneers kick off the season every year with a private practice, exclusive to active duty military, veteran service members and their families. Guests enjoy special military tributes, complimentary food and beverage and a post-practice autograph session with players and coaches as a thank you for their service.
Salute To Service Game, Presented by USAA
Each year, the Buccaneers recognize military personnel during the team's Salute to Service game, presented by USAA. Gameday elements include a military member leading the team onto the field, hundreds of servicemembers taking the Oath of Enlistment during halftime, and honoring the Buccaneers' Salute to Service Award Nominee, presented by USAA, which recognizes a player's exceptional efforts in appreciation and support for our armed forces.
The Buccaneers and Central Florida USO are proud to honor local military servicemembers and their families for their sacrifices and commitment to our country. The General H Norman Schwarzkopf Military Family of the Year Award was established by the Buccaneers in 2014 to celebrate families from every branch of the military who exemplify service before self. Nominations are accepted annually and the team hosts a special award presentation to honor winners and their families.
The team supports the courageous men and women who travel domestically and abroad to serve our country by providing a home away from home at the USO Welcome Center, a military-only lounge at Tampa International Airport. Â The Buccaneers-themed space supports over 300,000 traveling military personnel every year with complimentary resources and a hospitable atmosphere as an added thank you for their service.
