The Buccaneers announced today that they have signed three players to future contracts: safety M.D. Jennings, tight end Taylor Sloat and punter Chase Tenpenny.
Jennings spent 2011, his rookie season, to 2013 on the Packers' roster. He started all 16 of the Packers' games in 2013 and started 10 games in 2012.
He has 133 career tackles, one sack and returned his only career interception 72 yards for a touchdown. He played his college ball at Arkansas State.
Sloat, a rookie out of UC-Davis, was on the Buccaneers' practice squad for portions of the 2014 season. He was signed on Oct. 1 but released on Oct. 8. The Bucs signed him again on November 25 before releasing him on Dec. 10.
Tenpenny, also a rookie, spent his 2014 training camp with the Chargers but was waived on Aug. 28. He averaged 43.9 yards per punt in college at Nevada, a school record.
